C.O.M.E. : How you can help

Children of Mother Earth are currently fund raising to build a school for the two hundred children and numbers increasing as little vulnerable children are taken off the railway stations and into much needed support and care.  If you wish to support COME or for further information please contact mail@spirituscoaching.com or log onto www.comeinternational.org

Sponsorship:  It takes US$1 a day to sponsor one of the children from the two homes currently in operation.  Both called Upnar Ghur (which means Our Home in the Hindi language). US$30 per month to sponsor one child.  This is less than the cost of a cup of coffee a day at your local cafe.

When Ravi Rai was asked by a reporter of ‘what difference does his work make in saving little children in India when there are SO many to save and SO much poverty’ ? His answer lies in the story below.

The Zen Monk, Ryokan was discovered by his disciple Saito by the sea, where the tide had washed ashore many starfish.  They would all soon die of exposure.  Ryokan was tossing the starfish, one at a time, back into the ocean in a slow and meditative way.  “Why do you bother”? Saito asked Ryokan, overwhelmed by the vast numbers of starfish dying.  “It won’t make any difference”…. Ryokan stopped for a brief moment, looking at the starfish in his hand and he replied “It will to this one”

Ravi believes like Ryokan, every single child is worth fighting to save.  Even a single one of you reading this can make a difference to someone you reach out to help.  There is power in ONE.
